Linn holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Master of Arts in Psychology (Clinical and Health). She is also a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with the Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Linn considers it a privilege to work with people as they navigate through challenging times. She is warm and supportive with a genuine interest and concern for each individual client. She is interested in hearing your story, and seeing her clients transform and find freedom is very rewarding to her.

During sessions, she provides a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your own motivations for recovery. She looks for your strengths and values a transparent, collaborative approach on the journey to reaching your goals and maintaining them.

Linn is deeply passionate about the field of trauma, eating disorders, body image and exercise concerns.

This passion drives her to continuously expand her knowledge and expertise in these areas, staying attuned to the latest research and therapeutic approaches. Every interaction with clients facing these challenges is a valuable learning experience for her, and she treasures the time she spends working with them. The complexities of these issues inspire her to develop a nuanced understanding, and she is committed to providing the best possible support and guidance to help clients navigate their journeys toward healing and self-acceptance.

Linn has called Australia home for the past 12 years; however, prior to this, she lived in her birth country, Norway. As well as being fluent in English, she also speaks Norwegian.

  • Linn finds excitement in learning and is currently in the process of learning Internal Family Systems Therapy.

Linn has a passion for health in the public, and in addition to her psychology degrees she holds a Master of Public Health (Public Health Nutrition) and has a qualification as a Personal Trainer.

Since 2019, Linn has had the privilege of providing Maudsley family-based therapy (MFBT) for adolescents and children struggling with Anorexia Nervosa. The opportunity to engage in family therapy and witness families healing together has been rewarding to her. She deeply understands the stress that accompanies such a journey, both for those undergoing treatment and their loved ones.

As well as MFBT, she has also been dedicated to offering support to parents, partners, friends, and siblings who play a crucial role in caring for individuals with eating disorders. She recognises the emotional challenges inherent in this process and strives to provide guidance and empathy to all involved, fostering an environment of understanding and healing for everyone on this journey toward recovery.

A little note from Linn “I enjoy the small moments in life whether it’s at work or in my time off. Generally when I am not working, I love spending time outdoors in the nature, playing a few tunes on guitar, painting a painting, cooking or exploring new places with those I love”.

Linn sees the value in connecting with nature and animals as part of the healing process.
