Medicare Rebate

For 50-minute appointments, a Medicare rebate of $96.65 applies if you have a Mental Health Care Plan, Eating Disorder Plan, or Chronic Disease Management Plan and a referral letter from your doctor ( after you have spent a certain amount, you can receive a rebate of up to 80% with the Medicare safety net ).

No referral is required unless you wish to claim a rebate from Medicare.

Private Health Insurance

Some private health insurers will provide a rebate with a receipt of payment. Please check with your health fund.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

We provide therapy under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).  The fees are set and reviewed annually by the National Disability Insurance Agency and come out of your NDIS Plan (Improved Daily Living). The NDIS therapy rate for psychology is $214.41 per session, and there is no cost or gap fee for participants.

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule recommends a fee of $300 for a 50-minute appointment and $434 for an 80-minute appointment. We have set our fees below the APS recommended fees to make them more affordable. Please get in touch for further information about our appointment and assessment costs.

Cost should not be a barrier to treatment.

If you are in financial distress, we are happy to agree on a lower session cost, just email us and explain your circumstances.
